On November 4th, 2016 the Embassy of Ukraine in Singapore held a Ukrainian Gala Dinner. This event organized in cooperation with the Tower Club was a culmination of the Ukrainian Culture Week as part of celebrations to mark the 25th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence. During the gourmet week famous Ukrainian Chef Iurii Kovryzhenko offered a special menu including famous Ukrainian borscht, meat rolls, dumplings with mushroom and potatoes (a.k.a. «pierogi» in the Western Ukraine) and cottage cheesecake. A talented Ukrainian violinist Oleksandr Korniev and his wife, a pianist Julianne duetted with the Ukrainian Chef during the Gala Dinner to create an unforgettable experience of the Ukrainian hospitality.
