Ambassador Zelenko and Speaker Tan Chuan-Jin discussed the inter-parliamentary relations, development of cooperation in the spheres of trade, economy, culture, and people-to-people contacts, as well as other dimensions of cooperation on the bilateral and international level. They noted the importance of uniting international efforts to address global challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, climate changes, and food security.

Kateryna Zelenko expressed her appreciation for the principled stance of Singapore on the rule of law, respect of national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
