On the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Singapore, which is marked on 9 August since 1965, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara congratulated President of Singapore Tony Tan Keng Yam, Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore Halimah Yacob, Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Minister for Law of Singapore K Shanmugam respectively.

During the National Day celebrations, held on the Float at Marina Bay, Ambassador of Ukraine Pavlo Sultansky had a short conversation with the Prime Minister of Singapore, congratulated him on the remarkable event in the history of the country.
