“Understanding and Countering The Rapidly Evolving Threat of Terrorism: The Need for New Policies, Doctrine and Operational Capabilities”. The seminar with this title was held by the US Professor Stephen Sloan on October 8, 2014 at NTU S.Rajaratnam School of International Studies. Ambassador of Ukraine Pavlo Sultansky took part in the discussion.
The issue of new global challenge, along with traditional and nontraditional terrorist threats being faced by humanity, was raised referring to Russia as member of the nuclear club with veto right in the UN Security Council that fully supports, justifies and promotes international terrorism as the strategy of its foreign policy.
The unprecedented cynicism with which Moscow, carrying out aggression against Ukraine, defends international terrorism challenges the civilized world with extremely complicated problem of finding adequate means of restraining the criminal state of such a scale and military power.
