In particular the success of the counterterrorist operation in the east of Ukraine and liberation from pro-Russian militants of the towns in Donetsk and Luhansk regions were discussed. The Ambassador highlighted problems of restoration of normal functioning of the freed towns and stressed the necessity of boosting the EU sanctions against Moscow as pro-Russian terrorists and mercenaries receive heavy weapons from the Russian side.
