Ambassador P.Sultansky told Rotarians of Singapore about Ukraine's past, present and future

On November 18, 2015 Ambassador of Ukraine to Singapore Pavlo Sultansky made presentation about Ukraine for the members of Singapore Rotary Club. He specifically touched upon why the Revolution of Dignity erupted in November 2013 in the country’s capital city Kyiv, and the reasons for Kremlin’s offensive war against his Motherland. Through ages Ukrainians fought for independence, cementing their spirit while withstanding suppression by assertive and insatiable neighbours.
Ambassador spoke about Moscow’s extensive involvement in support of terrorist groups in Donbass, accelerated militarization of the occupied Crimea, offensive Kremlin's propaganda on the international arena, especially referring to the MH17 tragedy and consecutive Russia’s attempts to avoid responsibility for the committed crime.
Responding to questions of the participants, Ambassador told about international support for Ukraine and bilateral relations with Singapore.
Rich in natural resources, with well-educated and hard-working people, huge industrial, scientific, transport and logistics potential, Ukraine has all prerequisites to become prosperous and modern regional power.
Members of the Rotary Club warmly welcomed the presentation and wished Ukrainian people decent and independent life on their own land.
