Participants paid tribute to the Ukrainian Heroes who died defending their nation from the Russian military aggression. In his speech, Ambassador of Ukraine Dmytro Senik said: "We owe the Ukrainian independence to our soldiers who left their homes, their children and parents, the loved ones to defend our land. Many of them have never returned. Glory to our Heroes."

Dmytro Senik congratulated the Ukrainian Club on its first anniversary. Over the year, the Club has gained popularity among the Ukrainian community, but also among Singaporeans and other communities in Singapore.

The festivities also included the Ukrainian cuisine and music, entertainment and games for the little Ukrainians. The kids sang the anthem of Ukraine and unleashed blue and yellow balloons into the sky with good wishes for peace and prosperity in Ukraine and the world.
