Ambassador of Ukraine to Singapore met with Mr Ali Ijaz Ahmad, CEO of Asian Development Fund (ADF, www.asiadevelopmentfund.com) on 12 January 2012. The head of the powerful financial institution told about the priorities of the Fund that particularly include investing in high-tech and innovative projects. Ukraine as well as other Central and Eastern Europe countries have never been among the objects of the ADF activity, but positive trends in the Ukrainian economy attract interest, particularly in areas that the Fund sees as promising for itself.
For his part, the ambassador informed Mr. Ali about the positive trends in the Ukraine-Singapore relations, shared information on projects that might be interesting for ADF, recommended to send ADF representatives to participate in road-show of Ukrainian National Projects scheduled to be held this year in Singapore.
