On 18 October 2012 the President of the Republic of Singapore Dr Tony Tan launched the book with collection of culinary recipes of the world offered by diplomatic missions accredited in Singapore.
The purpose of this publication is, on the one hand, to provide Singaporeans with simple recipes for home cooking. At the same time, funds raised from numerous sponsors of this publication will be used to support the most vulnerable especially the elderly.
Bright album with recipes and photographs is compiled of dozens of recipes, among which was Ukrainian Medivnyk (honey cake) with walnuts.
The Embassy of Ukraine in Singapore attached few words on Medivnyk cooking peculiarities.
