20 December 2012, Ambassador of Ukraine to Brunei (nonresident) Pavlo Sultansky met with HE Pehin Dato Yahya, Minister of Industry and Primary Resources of Brunei (www.bruneimipr.gov.bn/).

Implementation of the agreements reached during State visit of the President of Ukraine V.Yanukovych to Brunei in March 2011 were discussed.

HE Pehin Dato Yahya informed on the Ministry’s activities, and in particular focused on the problem of preserving natural environment of the “Heart of Borneo” project (www.heartofborneo.org) with main purpose to preserve the biodiversity of the island.

Possibility of attracting Ukrainian companies which have experience in monitoring the earth's surface, was discussed.
