The festival of youth cultures "Global Village" took place on 23 January 2013 in Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. Such events are held annually in more than 100 countries under the auspice of the International Association of Students in Economic and Commercial Sciences (AIESEC).

The purpose of the event is to familiarize students and citizens of Singapore with culture and traditions of different peoples, to deepen mutual understanding and bring up tolerance. Ideas of diversity and unity of peoples were the leitmotif of the event.

Embassy of Ukraine in Singapore provided exposition with national attire and symbols of folk art products and photo albums about Ukraine.

It is emphasized in the letter to the Embassy from the organizing committee that items provided by the Embassy enriched exhibition, made it more interesting for participants and visitors. Expressing its appreciation the representatives of the students offered to cooperate further.
