On 6 November 2022 a charity event to support Ukrainian children's hospital «Okhmatdyt» was held in a circle of good friends of Ukraine in the Shangri-La Hotel.
Guests had the opportunity to learn more about the current situation in Ukraine and the «new normal» of Ukrainian doctors, who are fighting for the lives and health of patients under constant shelling of the Russian army and frequent blackouts.
As mentioned by «Okhmatdyt» Executive
Director Volodymyr Zhovnir in his video address to the event participants, «the funds raised this evening will allow to buy important equipment to support efforts of the medical personal in their daily struggle to save patients».
The local Ukrainian community used this opportunity to introduce Ukrainian culture and music to the international attendees of the evening.
