On June 22, the first Ukraine-Brunei Innovation Exchange took place in Bandar Seri Begawan.
The event gathered the IT communities of Ukraine and Brunei Darussalam as a joint initiative of the Embassy of Ukraine and the Singapore-Ukraine Business Association.
The participants focused on exploring potential spheres of cooperation in tech domain.
The Ambassador of Ukraine to Singapore Kateryna Zelenko delivered the opening remarks, emphasising the growing role of the Ukrainian tech companies in advancing globally IT and AI sectors, such as DefenseTech, Next-Generation Cybersecurity, GovTech ecosystem, GenAI, and LLMs.
While the US and Europe remain the primary markets for Ukraine’s tech exports, Asia represents a highly promising region for cooperation. In this context, Singapore serves as a premier tech hub and a crucial bridge between Western innovation ecosystem and rapidly growing Asian markets.
The founding team and partners of the Singapore-Ukraine Business Association (Ajentik.AI, Soloway Technologies, and RedJumpers Agency) within the framework of their flagship SGUA TechBridge program presented Ukraine’s IT ecosystem, showcased international projects by Ukrainian tech firms alongside their latest high-demand services and solutions.
The Bruneian side was represented by the Brunei4AI Association and leading local tech companies, including Tyne Solutions Sdn Bhd, Dynamik Technologies, DST, innov8 labs, and Unified National Networks.
