On 19 January 2021, Ambassador of Ukraine H.E. Mdm Kateryna Zelenko presented her Letters of Credence to President of the Republic of Singapore H.E. Mdm Halimah Yacob.

During the ceremony at the President’s official residence Istana, the sides welcomed the high level of relations between Ukraine and Singapore, the growing volume of bilateral trade and investments. It is anticipated that further contacts and high-level visits will give a new impetus to this cooperation.

Madame Ambassador expressed gratitude to President Halimah Yacob for Singapore’s support of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine based on the norms and principles of international law.

The sides confirmed the intent of both countries to continue the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the spheres of trade, food security, innovations, and people-to-people contacts.
