On 7 July 2020 Singapore’s Temasek Foundation provided the Ministry of Health of Ukraine with the humanitarian aid of RT-PCR kits for the COVID-19 detection, which are equivalent to 15 000 tests.

The Fortitude Kit 2.1 was designed by Singapore’s Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) together with MiRXES company, and is considered to be among the best of its kind in the world.

During the handover ceremony, Ambassador of Ukraine to Singapore Dmytro Senik thanked Temasek Foundation Board Director and Chief Executive Mr Benedict Cheong for the provision of the aid, which symbolizes the special partnership and friendship that exist between Ukraine and Singapore.
