On November 15, 2021, the Ukraine-Singapore IT Business Forum was launched virtually under the joint project of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the IT Ukraine Association. The forum will focus on innovative approaches to Big Data processing and the development of Cloud technologies.

The forum has been organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in Singapore and the IT Ukraine Association in cooperation with the Singapore Business Federation.

The event brought together representatives of Ukrainian and Singaporean companies and associations concerned.

The forum was graced by Mr Prasoon Mukherjee, GlobalConnect@SBF Committee Member, who welcomed efforts aimed at promoting Ukrainian IT services in the Singaporean market, singling out the potential of cooperation between Ukraine and Singapore in the sphere of Big Data and Cloud Technologies.

Ambassador Kateryna Zelenko emphasized in her opening remarks the significant potential of the IT industry in Ukraine. According to the head of the Mission, holding a Business Forum would reinvigorate business contacts and, as a result, contribute to further implementation of the joint projects between Ukrainian and Singaporean companies.

The first IT business Forum between Ukraine and Singapore takes place as a part of the joint project of the MFA of Ukraine and Ukraine IT Association aimed at promoting Ukraine as one of the most important IT hubs in Europe and a country on its way to becoming the world’s major tech powerhouse.
