For two weeks in May 2013 the 23^rd European Union Film Festival, traditionally dedicated to the celebration of Europe Day, will be held in Singapore, (http://www.facebook.com/EUFFsg).

This year, Ukrainian film by Mykhailo Illienko “FireCrosser” supported by the Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine and the Embassy of Ukraine in Singapore was invited to participate in the Festival. The movie won prizes at International Film Festivals in Kyiv (2011) and Moscow (2012).

The promotional activities have begun online, and the teaser with Ukrainians living in Singapore starring in is being produced. It is expected that local media will join the advertising campaign from April 25, when the media coverage event will be launched.

European films in partnership with Singapore Chapman University will be screened in Shaw Lido cinema.
