On the occasion of 22-th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine presentation-conference took place in Wee Kim Wee Centre at Singapore Management University on August 27.

Dr Kirpal Singh, Centre Director, launched the event and introduced Ambassador of Ukraine P.Sultansky, who informed about Ukraine history, economic potential and its geopolitical goals, relations with neighboring countries. Ambassador focused in particular on Ukraine-Singapore relations and their prospects.

Questions and answers session followed the presentation. Participants were especially interested in Ukraine-EU and Ukraine-Russian relations, prospects of Ukraine energy independence, Ukrainian’s attitude towards nuclear energy and others. Some of them noted growing attractiveness of Ukraine as a tourist destination.
