On June 23, 2014 the Ambassador of Ukraine to Singapore Pavlo Sultansky met with Non-resident Ambassador of Singapore to Ukraine Simon De Cruz.

Singapore’s consistent support for Ukraine in defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity was reiterated: the Singapore Government has condemned Russia's annexation of the Crimean Autonomous Republic, warned of infringement of international law and supported the relevant UN Resolution on Ukraine.

Ambassador S. De Cruz noted with appreciation the recent developments in Ukraine, in particular Presidential elections and the efforts of the President P.Poroshenko and Ukrainian Government aimed at restoration of peace and stability in the country widely supported by international community.

Bilateral agenda was thoughtfully discussed in view of Ambassador’s intention to make his trip to Ukraine soon.
