He talked about Ukraine-Russia relations in energy sphere, reduction of Russian gas consumption by Ukraine and prospects of Moscow’s reorientation to the East in energy supply.

Participants condemned and criticized Russia stance to influence Ukraine and EU using natural gas as a pressure. Debaters called dubious P.Noel’s words that when exporting natural gas Russia is guided by business interests only, and expressed doubts about the ability of Russia to implement gas agreements with China.
