During the prayer, the words of sympathy and support for the Ukrainian people regarding the incident that occurred 26 April 1986 in Chornobyl were expressed.

The Ambassador of Ukraine to Singapore Dmytro Senik, diplomats of the Embassy, representatives of the Ukrainian community and Singaporeans who attended the service prayed together for the health of all those affected by the tragedy and for soon overcoming of the environmental consequences of this terrible disaster.
