Delivering speech at the ceremony, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Singapore Dmytro Senik told about irresponsible approach of the Soviet authorities who had concealed the facts about the accident. He also spoke about the scale of the tragedy that had affected the people of Ukraine and other European countries.

The exhibition showcased a selection of black-and-white photographs shot in Pripyat by Christophe Malcot in 2015.
