On June 12 Pavlo Sultansky, Ambassador of Ukraine to Singapore, called on Chairman of Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC) Mr Shanker Iyer.
SICC is the oldest chamber of commerce in Asia and in Singapore. It brings together companies from over 40 countries, about 40% members of which are from Singapore; American, Japanese, German and British companies form the major group members.
Mr Iyer informed on SICC activities, features and advantages over many other similar institutions that operate in Singapore. In particular, he suggested the possibility of SICC membership for Ukrainian companies, wishing to establish offices in Singapore. He expressed interest in the dynamics of Ukraine-Singapore cooperation, first of all in the road-show of national investment projects of Ukraine which will be held with the assistance of Singapore Business Federation in autumn this year. In his opinion, promotional opportunities, appeared for Ukraine in conjunction with Euro 2012, should be used at their most.
