StarHub, one of the largest telecommunication companies in Asia, which got the exclusive right to broadcast live matches of Euro 2012 in Singapore, with the assistance of Embassies of Ukraine and Poland in Singapore, held European football tournament launch event on 8 June 2012.
Wide screen was installed at Clarke Quay Central Fountain area for watching Euro 2012 opening ceremony and first two matches. Among event’s guests were heads and staffers of accredited to Singapore diplomatic missions, SturHub major corporate clients, including agencies and Parliament representatives, etc. Hundreds of Singaporeans and tourists, mostly from European countries, joined this bright event.
Ambassadors of Ukraine and Poland Pavlo Sultansky and Waldemar Dubaniowski, StarHub COO Tan Tong Hai addressed the gathering. Before the start of live broadcasting music duo performed Polish and Ukrainian melodies.
