15 - 19 October 2013 Congress of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA 2013) held in Singapore was attended by over 600 participants: government officials, transport, logistics and freight forwarding companies, World Customs Organization, WTO, professional associations and many others.

Ukrainian delegation was headed by O.Platonov, President of the "Ukrzovnishtrans" Association.

At the presentation of Ukraine transportation and logistics potential Ambassador of Ukraine to Singapore Pavlo Sultansky drew attention to the positive trends in Ukrainian-Singapore trade and economic cooperation. He emphasized existing and promising opportunities while cooperating with Ukraine, including VIKING Train as well as other emerging possibilities and prospects in transportation and logistics in Ukraine.

MOU in the field of transportation and logistics cooperation between the Association "Ukrzovnishtrans" and an Italian partner Federation was concluded.

Delegation was received by Mr Ong Seow Leong, Vice President, Port of Singapore Authority. Prospects of cooperation between Odesa seaport and PSA were discussed.

O.Platonov negotiated with Mr Quek Keng Liang, Chairman, Singapore Logistics Association, further collaboration between partner Associations, in the field of training, in particular.
